Faith often begins where the tangible ends. For believers, acknowledging one's imperfections, personal sin, and inherent sin — original sin from Adam and Eve—is the first step towards redemption. This acknowledgment leads to repentance, a heartfelt plea for spiritual renewal, where one asks for divine intervention to cleanse and rejuvenate the soul, casting aside the old nature marred by sin and adopting the holy nature of God by inviting Jesus Christ into our heart.
