He understood the authority of Jesus' words, acknowledging that just as he commanded soldiers under him, Jesus could command healing. This connection between faith and authority demonstrates that when we connect with Jesus through faith, incredible things can happen.

Similarly, the account of the Syrophoenician woman and her daughter (Matthew 15:21-28) emphasizes persistent faith. Despite facing challenges and even a seemingly discouraging response from Jesus, the woman remained resolute in her belief that Jesus could heal her daughter. Her tenacity created a connection that led to her daughter's healing from demons, revealing the power of unyielding faith.

Connecting these stories to Revelation, the image of Jesus as the door (Revelation 3:20) is compelling. This symbolism portrays Jesus as the entry point to divine presence, a portal to God's grace and mercy. Through this door, believers can access the throne room of God, where worship is continuously offered (Revelation 4:2-11).
