Finding Comfort and Healing in the Courts of Heaven - Part 2
December 19
Continuing the exploration of seeking comfort and healing in the courts of heaven, I delve into the transformative power of faith and belief. My contemplation about the loss of loved ones has led me to the understanding that death is ultimately a consequence of sin introduced by the serpent or the devil. However, I hold firmly to the belief that Jesus Christ is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25). My desire is to transition from dwelling in the state of death and grief to experiencing the resurrection life that Christ offers.
The Bible encourages us to rejoice when a saint passes away, knowing they are welcomed into heaven (2 Corinthians 5:8). Nevertheless, those of us left behind must navigate the challenges of grief and loss. In times of sorrow, we can find solace in the story of Lazarus, where Jesus declared, "I am the resurrection" (John 11:25). This declaration is a powerful reminder that Jesus triumphs over death, offering hope and transformation.
I firmly believe that there is room for miraculous intervention, even in the face of grief. With God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). I see a profound connection worth exploring, one that offers hope and healing. I no longer need to succumb to despair, as Martha did when she thought it was too late for her brother Lazarus. The same Jesus who was with her is with me, seated in heavenly places with Christ (Ephesians 2:6).
In this realization, I am empowered by the resurrection power of Christ. My emotions are transformed, and I am no longer confined to sadness and grief. I confidently approach the courts of heaven, trusting in a sevenfold restoration (Proverbs 6:31). I view those who have departed as seeds planted in good ground, eagerly awaiting a harvest of resurrection life. This is not a message of despair; it is a perspective grounded in the light of God's Word. I anticipate His transformative power, believing that He can turn the losses in my life into opportunities for growth and renewal. I embrace the principles of the Kingdom of God—seedtime and harvest, my heavenly position with Christ (Ephesians 2:6), and the power of presenting my case before God.
I declare the devil as the thief and demand restoration through the precious blood of Christ, the sacrifice of the cross, and the undeniable evidence found in the Scriptures. I hold fast to the belief that God can and will turn death into life, bringing comfort and healing by seeking Him in the courts of heaven.
