Unlocking Hidden Treasures: Reclaiming What the Devil Has Stolen

   November 5

As we journey through our spiritual walk, we often contemplate the possibility of achieving even greater feats than those accomplished by Jesus during His earthly ministry. It may be that one avenue towards such greatness lies in our ability to discern the devils who cunningly abscond with the Word of God from people (luke 8:11-12), effectively becoming carriers of divine knowledge, albeit unwillingly. These unsuspecting carriers are, in truth, thieves. Scripture teaches us that should we identify these thieves, we have the potential to bring them before the courts of heaven and reclaim sevenfold of what the devil has stolen (Proverbs 6:30-31).

The scale of the devil's theft throughout our earthly existence is truly astounding (John 10:10). Contemplate the countless times when the Word of God was obscured and rendered impotent by these malevolent forces. Many individuals have fervently sought healing through prayer, only to have their petitions seemingly fall on deaf ears. Similarly, ideas and ingenious inventions often elude us due to the devil's sinister interference. Deep within these devils lies a hidden reservoir of divine knowledge (Luke 4:10-12, James 2:9).The Word of God, entrusted to humanity, is carried by them, but it becomes tainted by their dark intentions. In our endeavor to restore God's Word, we must confront the occasions when people in desperate need were seemingly left unanswered. Frequently, the absence of healing following prayers can be attributed to the devil's treacherous schemes.

Consider the profound impact of the devil's theft (Hosea 4:6). Those we have fervently prayed for may have met death instead of life, or individuals ensnared by poverty may have been unable to grasp the Word of God due to the devil's cunning tactics. The devil has maliciously stripped them of their rightful inheritance. Individuals are unaware of this theft because their eyes are shut and their ears remain closed. They unwittingly become vessels through which the devil steals away the blessings meant for them. Reclaiming what has been stolen is imperative. Hidden treasures surround us, often lurking in the most unexpected of places. As Scripture reminds us, "If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there, God" (Psalm 139:8). This verse serves as a powerful reminder that even in the darkest and seemingly improbable corners, we can encounter God's presence and uncover hidden treasures. It is in the most challenging circumstances that we often stumble upon treasures of faith, strength, and perseverance.

The endeavor to unearth these treasures demands unwavering commitment. Our responsibility includes the persistent prayer for healing, resurrection, and the proclamation of the Good News to the poor, the blind, and the sick. While the world may ridicule and mock us, our steadfastness rests in our unwavering trust in God's will and purpose. Continuing to seek, ask, and knock, as directed in Scripture (Matthew 7:7), ensures that the Word works mightily in our favor. The devil's theft is not confined to the present; it stretches back to the beginning of the world and the universe. It signifies a cosmic theft that has robbed humanity of the fullness of God's blessings, but God sent His Word (Jesus) to get back what the devil has stolen (John 10:10, Jeremiah 30:17).

We must reclaim what the devil has stolen, not only from ourselves but from all of humanity. These treasures are often concealed in the most unexpected places, within the devils themselves. Diligently pursuing God's promises found in His Word, seeking the lost, and unceasingly proclaiming the Good News to all allows us to recover the hidden riches and blessings that God has ordained for us through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
