Words Frame Our World
October 16
I've been contemplating the significance of the scripture as the foundation of my thoughts. The scripture in question is Hebrews 11:3, which begins with "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God." This recording delves into the profound concept of words, their role in defining our humanity, and the divine origin of language. Words are a gift from God, enabling us to perceive ourselves as beings created in His image. He used words to shape the universe, reminiscent of John 1:1-3, where it is said, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Additionally, Hebrews 1:2 and Colossians 1:16, among other verses, affirm that all things were created by Jesus, the Word of God, and are held together by Him.
Words, both spoken and written, are the essence of our communication, the vibrations of our existence. When God created the heavens and the earth, He spoke, saying, "Let there be light," and so forth. His method of creation was akin to how I communicated this message through recording it on a voice recorder. However, God's communication transcends our limited understanding of time and space, as He is omnipresent and omniscient. We, as humans, are a reflection, a metaphor, of who God is. This connection allows us to use words and metaphors to separate and unite, a power granted by God to "loosen and bind" as stated in Matthew 18:18.
As human beings, we possess immense power, and this is evident in our interactions with the temporal world. In our endeavors, we utilize words, paper, and images, just as Jesus employed parables to convey spiritual truths. Our earthly actions are metaphors for higher spiritual realities. My personal journey led me to create a secret place, and I believe I witnessed Jesus certifying its truth. The Bible often speaks of heavenly visions and experiences, which served as the foundation for my secret place, a metaphorical representation of the heavenly realm.
The secret place I've crafted in my imagination is like a higher-level programming language, one step below, so to speak, the heavenly realities described in Revelation, Ezekiel, and the Bible at large. I sense that the Lord has granted me permission to dwell in this metaphorical space, bridging the gap between my understanding and the true secret place of God in heaven. This intricate hierarchy, much like a machine language, enables me to access deeper understanding, even if I do not comprehend it fully. It shapes my perception and informs my thoughts, rooted in the English language and my personal experiences. It acts as a parable of the divine reality and grants me insights into this physical world, which is replete with metaphors for spiritual truths.
Doors, cars, clouds, and other physical entities serve as metaphors for spiritual concepts. In the Bible, we are encouraged to open the "windows of heaven" and unlock "ancient gates and doors." Our tools, such as pencils, computers, cameras, and recorders, function as metaphors that aid us in gaining wisdom and purpose. These metaphors offer a glimpse into our true identity and the mechanics of existence, revealing how the physical world is built upon the spiritual realm. Jesus, as the sustainer of all things, underscores the profound interconnection between the two realms, emphasizing that nothing in the physical world can exist without Him (Colossians 1:17).
This realization empowers us to speak things into existence, as Hebrews 11:3 asserts, "Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the Word of God." Words frame our world, and by using the Word of God, we can shape our reality. We can imagine ourselves seated with Jesus as the Bible says (Ephesians 2:4-6). As we realize where we truly are positioned, we can speak with authority to change this physical world so that it conforms to Gods will. For example if we can do like Jesus did and if someone is sick we can pray for their healing and expect a quick recovery or we can speak provision in to our lives as Jesus multiplied the bread and fish to feed the multitude.
Remember that "Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the Word of God." Words hold the power to shape our reality, much like the divine creation itself. As we grasp our position and authority as believers, we can speak words of faith to transform our lives, aligning them with God's divine will. Let us not underestimate the profound impact our words can have, for they are more than just expressions – they are the building blocks of our world, guided by faith and the Word of God.
