"From Prayer to Breakthrough: Unleashing the Power of the Burning Spirit" August 12

Here's a scripture in Isaiah 4:3-4 about people who are in Jerusalem, standing in the presence of God. This scripture says, "When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the Daughters of Zion and have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof, by the spirit of judgment and the spirit of burning."

Here is another scripture that seems to connect with the one in Isaiah: in Matthew 3:11, it says Jesus will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. So, that's the Spirit of Burning and The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of judgment. Then, in Psalms 39:3, it says, "My heart grew hot within me, and as I meditated, the fire burned, then I spoke with my tongue." I am reminded here of Genesis 1:2, where the Holy Spirit is hovering over the waters of the deep waiting for God to speak and start creating the universe - the flash point of existence!

Let’s continue with Psalms 39:3, "My heart grew hot within me, and as I meditated" (as I meditated means to mumble, to me indicating the prayer language) it starts getting the fire burning within, and it starts consuming. The spirit of fire and the spirit of judgment start percolating inside you, and after a bit of stirring yourself up (Jude 20) you speak along with God's "let there be light” proclamation.

You stir that fire and the burning judgment, and that spirit of judgment comes in because you're judging the negative things you are struggling with, and you're letting God come in and fight the battle for you. You're in the courtroom of heaven. Satan's accusing you, but you have an advocate who is the Lord Jesus Christ, as we just saw in the book of Matthew where he comes to baptize you with fire. That fire is the spirit of burning, the spirit of judgment, the Holy Spirit. You align yourself with God’s burning fire Spirit as you use your prayer language.

And I think that's also how you get those sudden breakthroughs, the immediate breakthroughs. Using your prayer language aligning with God will to accelerate this process - the courtroom process of dealing with those accusing you. You go in there and you start using your prayer language, and this helps you to associate with the spirit of God, the Burning Spirit of judgment aspect of his Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ is there also with God the Father, the ultimate judge, and he declares that you are innocent and the devil is judged because of the blood of Jesus, the word of his testimony, and that you are not loving your life unto death, as it says in Revelation 12:11.

When you speak in line with the Word of God, the ministering spirits, also known as the flames of fire (angels) sent to us from God to help us when we need them , are ascending and descending (also indicating a stirring - prayer language) as they did for Jacob in his vision of the ladder. Through this burning process, you get what you have been praying for.

Here is a very important aside that you must work out before speaking against the devil and the negative situation you are contending with. The Holy Spirit is also involved in convicting us of any unforgiveness we may have that is causing us to stay in that terrible situation due to that unforgiveness. The unforgiveness gives the devil authority to stick around and torment us. So it is important to deal with the unforgiveness first using this consuming fire process on yourself then after we cleanse ourselves from the unforgiveness, we can continue the burning process on the devil and the problems that are coming against us.

Sometimes we don't know how to do it, and that's why we use our prayer language (Romans 8:26-28) for the whole process inward to cleanse us and outward to contend with the devil. Proverbs 20:27 says that the spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of a man to show him what is going on inside his soul.

So, you bring it all to the Lord with the prayer language and let the consuming fire come in and take out and draw out the impurities, and let the purifying blood of Jesus and the light of Jesus and the healing that is found in Him come in. After you allow the cleansing process to clean your soul, you continue with the fire burning process to turn on the adversary the devil and as you align and “hover (prayer language)”with the Spirit of God over the negative situation, when you sense the burning in your soul you speak as God spoke and you bring into your situation the solutions needed, the healing needed, the finances needed, etc. Check out Daniel 3:20-27 for more context.

These are my musings, revelations, meditations, and proclamations I have today regarding the spirit of God and his fire and judgment and how we can align ourselves with it to heal our soul, battle the devil, and to obtain the things we want, desire, and need.
