Embracing the Power of Faith: Jesus Works from the Inside Out

May 18

In the journey of faith, it is essential to understand that Jesus works from the inside out. This profound concept means that He begins His transformative work within our hearts, gradually manifesting it in our external lives. This principle holds everything together, emphasizing the importance of inner spiritual growth.

When praying for healing over sickness, the process begins internally. We call upon the Word of God that resides within us, addressing the very cells affected by the illness. Scripture assures us that healing belongs to the children of God (Matthew 15:26). Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil (1 John 3:8), and this destruction occurs from the inside out. As we pray, we invoke the Word of God to dismantle the sickness at its core, ultimately eradicating it completely.

God’s work is not superficial; it penetrates to the very essence of our being. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end (Revelation 22:13). Jesus, the Word of God, works in harmony with the Holy Spirit, seeking individuals with even a mustard seed of faith (Matthew 17:20). With faith, we can move mountains, walk on water, and even raise the dead, for God’s power surpasses all obstacles.

The resurrection of Jesus exemplifies the triumph of life over death. Just as a seed must die to produce more life, Jesus’ death and resurrection enable Him to dwell within human hearts. This victory over death (1 Corinthians 15:55-57) demonstrates that life in Christ is greater than any force in the world. Indeed, greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).

God’s greatness is beyond measure. He created all things by His Word, sustains them by His Word, and maintains them by His Word (John 1:1-3). No problem, illness, or even death is beyond His power. Jesus is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25), capable of creating limbs, healing diseases, and overcoming any challenge.

Our role is to believe and act on the Word of God within us. By aligning our faith with God’s Word, we engage in a dynamic process where deep calls unto deep (Psalm 42:7). Mountains move, not by our might, but by the power of God’s Word within us. However, this requires a heart free from doubt and unforgiveness (Mark 11:23-25), made possible through the cleansing blood of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit, the dunamis power of God, works in us to accomplish the impossible (Ephesians 3:20). When we align with God’s will and His desires, His power flows through us, achieving what we cannot imagine. This unified work of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit operates from within, transforming us and our circumstances from the inside out.

In conclusion, embracing the concept that Jesus works from the inside out is vital for a fruitful spiritual life. By nurturing the Word of God in our hearts and exercising faith, we can witness the extraordinary power of God manifest in our lives. Let us hold fast to this truth, allowing God to work in us and through us, overcoming every challenge and fulfilling His divine purposes.
