Revelation 19: The Word Holding Everything Together

September 10

I read Revelation 19 (Revelation 19:11), where it talks about the Word of God, who is the Lamb that was slain – it was Jesus (Revelation 19:13). This connects with what I've been meditating on, that the Word of God holds everything together. The Word of God not only created all things but is also a person and a relationship.

As Christians, we receive Jesus, the Word of God, into our lives. He came to save us, died for us, and rose again so that we may be with Him (John 3:16; Romans 6:4). He resides in us, and we are in Him (John 14:20; Galatians 2:20). This amazing truth means that the One holding everything together is also the One we are in.

This is why we can do all things through Christ, through the Anointing, through the Holy Spirit (Philippians 4:13; Acts 1:8). We have an unction from the Holy One, and we know all things because the Holy Spirit, Jesus, and the Father are all in us, and we are in them (1 John 2:20; John 14:17; John 14:23). It's a profound reality.

This is how we can move mountains (Mark 11:23) and even raise the dead (Matthew 10:8) – by humbling ourselves in Him and allowing His power to transform situations, changing the crippled to the healthy and the broken to the whole. We can heal the sick (James 5:15) and reject cancer because the One holding everything together can release and destroy it (Psalm 107:20; Isaiah 53:5). All we need to do is believe it, speak it, and watch it manifest (Mark 11:23-24). It is a mighty power.

Thank you, Father, for your greatness and power. Your glory is everywhere (Psalm 19:1), and we can release it through worship (John 4:24). Everything aligns with God's plan (Romans 8:28), and worship is the key. Just like in Revelation, where the four living creatures and the 24 elders worship constantly (Revelation 4:8-11). We worship Christ who holds everything together and He is within us and around us.

In this state, things change for the better, and the works of the devil are destroyed (1 John 3:8). Compassion and mercy flow freely (Psalm 103:8; Luke 6:36). Thank you, Word of God, for holding everything together.
