All Things Are Possible with God
September 22
The scripture reminds us that all things are possible with God (Matthew 19:26). This means that everything, both within and outside ourselves, is intricately held together by the Word of God. It is a testament to the endless possibilities that exist within His creation. The Word of God is a powerful force. It has the ability to transform water into wine (John 2:1-11) and change one substance into another. This transformative power is a reflection of the eternal nature of the Word of God. It is the reason why we are told that with faith, we can move mountains (Matthew 17:20) and cast them into the sea (Mark 11:23).
Everything, even the challenges we face such as coronavirus, cancer, death, and the influence of the devil, is ultimately under the authority of the Word of God. It is in these challenges that we can find possibilities and opportunities for God to work. The psalmist David beautifully expressed the omnipresence of God when he said, "I can make my bed in hell, and you are there" (Psalm 139:8). Everywhere we go, everything we see, speaks of God's presence. Seeking Him first is the key, as He is the principal essence in all of creation.
Everything, even sin, death, and the devil, was accounted for in God's plan, and His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, became the possibility of renewal and redemption (John 3:16). We thank our Heavenly Father for this incredible sacrifice and the restoration it brings. In Numbers 14:21, we find confirmation that possibilities abound everywhere. The Lord declared that the whole earth shall be filled with His glory. His glory is embedded in His Word, waiting to be discovered and extracted.
Numbers 14:9 offers another perspective. It reminds us not to fear when facing daunting situations or adversaries. Even in the face of challenges, these circumstances can become a source of provision, just as David found Goliath to be his bread when he defeated him (1 Samuel 17). Mark 9 recounts the moment when Jesus ascended the Mount of Transfiguration, and His glory manifested (Mark 9:2-8). This serves as a powerful example that the Word of God is present and can be tapped into anywhere and everywhere. Just as Numbers 14 emphasizes, the glory of God covers the entire earth.
In conclusion, seeking God's kingdom and His Word is the key to seeing Him everywhere, in anything you encounter. All things, whether physical or spiritual, visible or invisible, were created by the Word of God. Therefore, we must extract His Word from every situation. Even the things that seem most daunting can be a source of provision, and healing is readily available to those who believe in His promises. This is not a struggle but a confident trust in the truth of God's Word.
